🌿 Perfect Days

Wim Wenders has made, what seems to me, a perfect movie. The dangerlam and I saw it last night at the historical Sun Theatre as part of a launch event for Cinemagoer, and... it’s been a long time since I have felt this moved.

I won’t do the thing of explaining poetry here, because that is what this film is: poetic, textured, sublime. It has instilled within me a renewed reverence for life, and all the magic that is to be found in the seemingly mundane.

I knew nothing of Perfect Days beforehand, and this is my preferred way to experience all films. No trailers; no spoilers.

Though I am not sure that this movie could be spoiled. It’s perfect.
